Save on drugs with $4 prescription programs at Wal-Mart, Target, Sam's Club, Kroger, and others

Pharmacy / drugs

Wal-Mart and Sam's Club offer over 350 prescription drugs and more than 1,000 over-the-counter medications at only $4 per 30-day supply. Additionally, you may obtain a 90-day supply for just $10. The list of eligible drugs in the $4 Prescriptions Program represents up to 95 percent of the prescriptions written in the majority of therapeutic categories. See the pharmacy section of the Wal-Mart web site to find out whether your prescription medications are on the list.

While Wal-Mart may have been the first to offer a $4 prescriptions program, many of their competitors maintain similar or identical prescription programs. Retailers offering competitive prescription programs include Target and Kroger. Note that some other retail pharmacies will price match, so check with your local retail pharmacy even if they don't advertise a $4 prescriptions program.

And while you're getting your $4/$10 prescriptions filled, don't forget to pay for them with a credit card that earns you up to 5% rewards at pharmacies (e.g. You do not have access to view this node).
